“Show and Tell” and more.

23 Nov

It was another busy meeting when we shared our favourite things in a Show and Tell session spanning a spread of era’s, styles and tastes. We went from late 1800’s/early 1900’s  to present day with a wonderful array of different fabrics and items large and small, that shows the diversity of our skills. Well done everyone! It just shows how talented you all are.

Gill Stanbridge from “Happidashery” brought the Pop up Shop with a great choice of fabrics and haberdashery to choose from. We had a table selling RNLI fundraisers and we also continued to make Christmas decorations for the Holy Cross Christmas Tree Festival. Many thanks to all who gave their time to make a decoration, especially Pat Wallace who coordinated this years plan. The tree looks amazing! Go and have a peek when you’re in Cowbridge. It’s well worth a visit.

Last but not least Madaline Lock and Jill Pattinson have been busy making 8 each of the Telemetry Holders for use in Pardon Ward, Glangweli General Hospital, Carmarthen. Well done for rising to the challenge ladies.
