GQ Returns!

We managed a face to face meeting in June 2021 for the first time in months and it was sooo good to see everyone. Lets hope it’s the start of many more!

In the afternoon we had a Zoom talk by Katharine Guerrier on her Mini Quilts.

You have all been very busy creating and you have sent me some lovely pictures of things you’ve been working on so here they are.

Heulwen made this gorgeous quilt in blues and cream.
Julia made these tiny improv houses from the Jo Avery zoom workshop.
Pat Hixon has been very busy working on this Manor House Quilt from a Quilters Guild pattern.
Pam has made these two lovely quilts!
Keris has been working hard making 2 versions of The Iris Quilt from a pattern by Kitchen Table Quilting for her grand daughters birthdays.
Elaine made this gorgeous quilt for her grand daughter featuring unicorns.
Some of us did a Zoom workshop with Julie of Juberry Fabrics.
Here is Corinne’s version of Julie’s Moonlight Star Quilt in progress. Hopefully soon to be finished.

The AGM will take place in Ystradowen Hall on Saturday 10th July 2021. Julia will be in touch with a Newsletter and we hope to see some of you there. Keep sending me photos of your lovely work please. Corinne
