Glamorgan Quilters November 2017 Newsletter

Hello Everyone,

Thank you to all who made a decoration last month for the Holy Cross Christmas Tree Festival. We are still in need of some more so please bring the ones that were taken home to finish, then we can see how many we’ve got. Pat will bring all the makings again on Saturday. We have more beaded trimmings to embellish them. The deadline for putting up the tree is 20th November.

Please don’t forget to bring your “Show and Tell” on Saturday. I love to see the huge variety of different things everyone comes up with. It can be anything you would love to share with members.

Gill Stanbridge, who runs a small Studio “Happidashery,” in the Model House Llantrisant selling haberdashery and Moda fabrics, is coming in the morning with her Pop up Shop. I haven’t been to the studio so it’s an opportunity to look at some fabrics and support a local business. I have had a look at her Facebook page and she seems to have some lovely Moda fabrics. She says she will bring as much as she can.

At this meeting there will be a list available for members to indicate if they will be attending the Christmas Lunch on the 9th December and to state what they will bring. Salinder has booked “Half Tidy” to entertain us.

Our trip to Midsummer Quilting
